How to Insert an Image

Inserting an image take a few steps that are easy to following. While in an article, select "Image" on the bottom of the text screen.

The next screen give you a couple of options for inserting an image. Scrool to the image you need. If the image is in a folder, pick on that folder to open it. Another option - if your image is not already on your website, you can up load it by selecting "Browse" at the bottom of the directory

screen. If you upload your own image, you must select "Start Upload". When complete, across the top of the directory will display "Upload Complete". Now you may choose your image from the directory, then select "Insert". When the insertion is complete the image will appear in the text window as below.

To edit the image setting select the image. It will highlight as shown below. There are two image editors on the menu. Select the right one (the circle one).

This brings up the editing dialog box for your image. First, fill in the alternative text. This text is used in the search engines. In the bottom right of

the dialog box is the dimensions of your image. If you need to change the image dimensions, the left box is the width, the right box is the height.

Next is the Alignment. There are five positions to choose from. To the right is the preview for the postion you choose. It displays where the text lay in contrast to the image. Each time I insert an image. I set the margin to 15 on the text side of the image other wise the text is right up against the image. I f you desire, the last line is for placing a border around your image. YOu can choose the type, the thickness and the color.

If you find that you inserted the incorrect image, it can be replaced on this screen as well. By selecting the image from the image list and selecting "Update" you changes will be saved.

Now your image should be placed where you need it.
